LÉON: THE PROFESSIONAL: This poster for Léon the Professional carries an obvious theme to the design. The theme is almost completely red, which emphasizes the bloody nature of the film behind the protagonist who is a hit man. All colour has been removed from the initial image of the protagonists face, who has been created to look rather rugged - however, he also appears enigmatic due to the glasses which hide a large amount of his face - especially on a close-up! The title of the film is in large, bold font which also shares the colour scheme of the photograph in the background - this shows consistency within the poster, showing that care and detail has been cared for in this and may cause the viewer to feel the film will be the same.
