Due to very few films having similarities in storyline to my final product, there are not many products which I am able to look at and compare and contrast to my own. Although not much research can be done on the similar products, it captures a unique aspect which is very hard to find in this day and age within the masses of films which have been produced. This is likely to draw in more people to view the film as they will be unaware of what to expect, yet this could also have a negative impact and because they are not aware of what to expect, they may turn away from the product. However, it is likely to draw on human's strongest fear - the fear of the unknown. This may appear to be a silly idea considering that the aim of the film is to scare people, yet due to research carried out, many people enjoy a film which can affectively impact their emotions and have an emotional/physical effect on them.
